1. Purpose and legal position

This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose and protect personal data. We aim to process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including requirements that may apply under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable rules. Where consent is required, we will seek it through an appropriate notice or consent flow. This Policy does not remove any right that cannot lawfully be waived.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on the service, we may collect name, contact details, date of birth or age, class or grade, school details voluntarily provided, parent or guardian details, account credentials, payment and transaction details, enrolment and access records, assessment responses, results, competition entries, device and browser information, IP address, usage logs, support messages, and information necessary to prevent fraud or protect the Platform.

3. Why we use information

We may use information to create and administer accounts; provide courses, digital products, examinations and competitions; process payments; communicate service information; offer support; calculate and publish results as applicable; improve content and Platform operations; maintain security; detect abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

4. Limited disclosures and providers

We may disclose or enable processing only on a limited, lawful basis, including to payment processors, cloud and hosting providers, communication and support providers, security providers, analytics providers, professional advisers, regulators or public authorities where required, and other parties where necessary to protect rights, prevent fraud, enforce policies or deliver a requested service. Service providers may process data on our instructions and subject to appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

5. Results, achievements and marketing

We may use aggregate, anonymised or appropriately de-identified performance information for analytics, educational insight and marketing. We may use a participant’s name, photograph, school, result, rank, award, testimonial or achievement in marketing or promotional material only where we have the consent or other lawful basis required by applicable law. For Minors, any required parent or guardian consent will be sought. We will seek to avoid publishing unnecessary personal information.

6. International storage and transfers

We may use cloud, hosting and other service providers with servers or processing facilities outside India. Accordingly, personal data may be stored or processed outside India, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards. By using the Platform, users acknowledge this possibility; this acknowledgement does not override rights available under law.

7. Security, retention and rights

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. Further detail is in our Data Security and Data Retention Policy. We retain data for the period reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, legal compliance, dispute resolution, audit, fraud prevention and enforcement, then delete or anonymise it where appropriate. We may need to verify identity and may retain limited information where law or legitimate operational needs require it.
